The pipe manufacturer shall have established a Quality Control and Inspection Plan sufficient to guarantee:
• The inspection of all incoming materials
• The dimensional controls - weight, thickness, length, winding angle, etc
• The glass to resin ratio
• The visual inspection
• The degree of cure of the resin.
Furthermore the supplier must enforce a material traceability system and a qualification testing program to establish for each class of products:
• Short term pressure at failure
• Short term ring stiffness.
