The big Lathe machines, the biggest in Syria, which occupy a large space of the main hall, are considered to be the backbone of the production lines, as they manufacture the metallic molds by means of which pipes are produced. The relatively small lathe machine produces the molds of diameters from 200 up to 800 mm, and the length of 12 m. It also laths the spigot, at the place of locating the gaskets, after being manufactured, as well as cutting the pipes at the areas of the bell and spigot.

As to the big lathe machine, which is one of the biggest in Syria and may be the biggest, by means of which the metallic molds for big diameters of 900 up to 3000 mm, at a length of 12 m are manufactured, as well as lathing the spigot of the pipe after being manufactured at the place of locating the gaskets, and also cutting the pipes at the areas of the bell and spigot.

All these lathes machines work according to completely computerized program of high technology.
The hall also includes an auxiliary workshop for manufacturing of spare parts necessary and auxiliary for production. This auxiliary workshop is composed of a group of small laths machines, milling machines, perforators, blacksmithing and welding workshops, and a big milling machine that is computerized. Raw materials used in production of GRP pipes are mostly imported: Resins, different kinds of fiberglass, polyester net…liquid materials added to accelerate resin hardening. As to pure silica sand, it is transported from the area of Al Quariatine after being stored, cleaned and dried to eliminate dampness.
